ONE-ON-ONE SPORTS-BASED MENTORING
WHY IT MATTERS
Some young people need more than a group setting. They need a steady adult, clear goals and a safe space to try, learn and try again. One on one sports based mentoring provides that structure for young people who benefit from tailored support and a consistent mentor, including those who prefer one on one over group programs.
Overview
MENTORING: WHY IT MATTERS
We use movement to lower the guard, open real conversations and build confidence, resilience and practical life skills that carry into school, work and home. By focusing entirely on the individual, we provide a safe space to try, learn and try again.

Philosophy
A PERSONALIZED PATH TO GROWTH
Every participant’s journey starts with a dedicated individual intake to ensure they get the tailored support they need. We understand that some young people need more than a group setting to thrive, which is why together we map a detailed Personal Growth Plan that accurately reflects their unique needs, strengths and goals. To ensure this growth is sustainable, we collaborate closely with families, schools and support networks so that the young person’s progress remains consistent across all settings.
Approach
HOW THE MENTORING WORKS
One on one sports based mentoring provides a necessary structure where sessions run weekly or fortnightly. Every session is guided by a qualified mentor who holds a Working With Children Check, trauma informed training and ARHAN certification, ensuring a steady adult presence and a safe space to try, learn and try again.
During these tailored sessions, we use movement and physical activity to naturally lower the guard and open real, meaningful conversations. This consistent approach helps build crucial confidence, resilience and practical life skills that young people can carry directly into school, work and home.
